avi and andrew have spent their professional and academic careers at the intersection of public policy, pedagogy, and activism. they met at the urban policy and planning graduate program at hunter college, where they both graduated with honors and distinction. avi and andrew concentrated in housing policy with a specific focus on global housing markets, monetary policy, and the history of economic development.
avi and andrew have published features and op-eds in numerous publications including the new york review of architecture, city limits, jewish currents, nys focus, city & state, the new york daily news, the architect’s newspaper, and more. they have lectured undergraduate and graduate courses together at nyu and hunter college on the topics of housing, economic development, and urban planning.
